Global probiotics market approaching $30bn by2015: Report

Global Industry Analysts (GIA) predicts theglobal probiotics market will be worth $28.8bn by 2015, even though the marketis still considered to be in infancy.

Despite regulatory challenges stemming fromgovernment agencies in the US and the European unio questioning the validityof some probiotic claims, probiotic scientific research remained“extensive”.
